Job Details: Location: Boston, MA (split between two hospitals) Job Type: Contract Schedule: • Sunday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM (MGH) • Monday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (MEE) • Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (MEE) • Saturday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM (MGH) Role and Responsibilities: Perform head and neck ultrasound examinations at Mass Eye & Ear (MEE), strictly following detailed examination protocols. Participate in ultrasound-guided procedures, including biopsies and potentially operating room guidance. Conduct routine general ultrasound exams, along with specialized imaging of transplanted liver and kidney, and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) assessments at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). Utilize Philips Epiq Elite equipment at MEE and GE Logiq S10s at MGH. Collaborate closely with radiologists to ensure accurate and comprehensive imaging. Pediatric ultrasound experience is an asset for MGH scanning responsibilities. Required Qualifications & Desired Experience: Proven ultrasound technologist or sonographer experience, particularly in general ultrasound imaging. Proficiency in head and neck ultrasound techniques and ultrasound-guided procedures preferred. Ability to work effectively across multiple sites with varying technology. Excellent communication skills and teamwork within multidisciplinary clinical teams. Pediatric ultrasound skills considered a strong plus.
