Hiring Manager: Ahmed A Shible, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP, DPLA - Clinical Pharmacy Manager ()Responsibilities are varied and include the following:Provides clinical leadership and supervision for internal medicine, oncology, surgery, and cardiology service lines including monitoring staffing needs and assuring appropriate staffing levels are maintainedProvides leadership for appropriate medication use for area(s) of responsibilityLead or support service-line initiatives and projects. Identifies and implements clinical pathways and/or operational process improvement initiatives to provide optimal care while minimizing cost Creates and/or maintains pathways, policies and procedures specific to the practice area Collaborates with other members of the leadership team to achieve departmental as well as health-system goalsManage SAFE Reports and follow-up.This role will have direct reports and Maintain responsibility of performance evaluations and facilitation of corrective actionProvide regular 1:1s, check-ins, and open-door support for pharmacists and learners Support leadership development among frontline staff Oversee onboarding, hiring, and recruitment of new employees for the clinical pharmacy team and departmentOversee payroll, timesheets, and scheduling for pharmacists and residentsProvides on-call leadership support for the clinical team and staffs every 12th weekend and occasional holidaysParticipates in experiential student and resident educationDevelops and maintains relationships with internal and external partnersSupports compliance with federal, state, local and institutional policies, procedures, standards and regulationsParticipate in Rex and system-level committees Collaborate with RHSH and Rex Operations, including standing meetings.
