Child Mental Health Counselor

CFTSS -CFTSS Clinical services are provided to children/youth and are intended to help identify and prevent the progression of behavioral health needs through early identification and intervention. Services may be provided to children/youth in need of assessment for whom behavioral conditions have not yet been diagnosed or to youth with a diagnosis for whom flexible community-based treatment is needed to correct or ameliorate a developmental delay or problem in functioning or capacity for healthy relationships. The clinician conducts a comprehensive assessment to determine if children/youth are eligible for CFTSS, makes recommendations regarding which CFTSS services are to be provided, and completes a treatment plan , which serves as a rehabilitative service package to support a child and family whose needs may be complex and/or require flexible nontraditional approaches. We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and proactive therapist to join our team, providing high-quality behavioral health services to individuals in the Bronx. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and a passion for community -based work.
