Hospice of Marion County, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a dedicated Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and ensure the highest standards of palliative and hospice care. In this role, you will guide symptom management, certify hospice eligibility, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to support patient-centered plans of care. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.A medical degree and Florida Licensure are required.Board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine preferred.Demonstrated work experience in health care related industries or areas which are translatable to Hospice.
