State Street, South HollandJob Type: Adjunct FacultyJob Number: 00216Department: Allied HealthOpening Date: 08/27/2024 Description The Adjunct Faculty Radiologic Technology will work closely with the Coordinator to teach courses in the Radiologic Technology program. Examples of Duties Must demonstrate teaching skills by selecting and implementing instructional strategies for teaching, and assessing student achievement of the learning objectives of the program. Teaching experience in Radiologic Technology; Teaching faculty will:Meet with courses and laboratories at scheduled times.Instruct, advise, consult with and evaluate the performance of enrolled students.Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, course reference/bibliography, assignments, tests, and other course materials.Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and/or other documentation as required. Typical Qualifications Associate degree in Radiologic TechnologyCurrent ARRT Certification in Radiology TechnologyCurrent IEMA IL Radiology or Indiana Radiology unencumber licenseHolds academic and/or professional credentials appropriate to the subject content area taught;Must successfully pass a criminal background check. Supplemental Information PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree preferred.Knowledgeable of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology accreditation standardsAt least three 3-5 years' experience in teaching on a college level and affiliated with an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Experience with developing didactic and clinical outcomes/curricula on a program and course level.
