Visit School Website Catholic School Search Key Responsibilities Student Supervision & Engagement: * Provide direct supervision to students during after-care hours from3pm until 6pm. * Create a safe, supportive, and interactive environment for children of various ages. * Facilitate developmentally appropriate games, crafts, and activities. * Act as a positive role model, guiding students in behavior and social interactions. Safety & Compliance: * Uphold and enforce all school policies, rules, and health and safety standards at all times. * Maintain a clean and organized program space, ensuring hygiene standards are met. * Manage the visitor and sign-out process for after-care, overseeing after-hours access. * Be prepared to handle emergencies by knowing and following school and program procedures. Communication & Record Keeping: * Communicate effectively with parents and guardians during pick-up. * Maintain accurate records, including student attendance, incident reports, and other required documents. * Collaborate with other staff, program managers, and school administration, relaying important information. Required Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent. * Experience working in daycare or before/after school programs is preferred. * Understanding of child development principles and best practices in childcare. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
