The mission of this role is to deliver high-quality preventive care and patient education while ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed, and valued.This role requires the ability to clearly and compassionately explain treatment needs, provide exceptional clinical care, and support patients in achieving better oral and overall health-while contributing to a positive, efficient, and collaborative practice environment.Key Performance IndicatorHygiene Production Key ResponsibilitiesSeat patients and provide exceptional comfort and overall patient experienceUpdate health histories and obtain vital signsDeliver preventive hygiene care and periodontal therapy (including perio charting and STM treatments)Apply sealants and administer local anesthesia as appropriateEducate patients on recommended treatments and products to improve oral healthTake dental X-raysClean and set up treatment rooms and instruments as neededSchedule patients for recare appointmentsAssist the front desk in maintaining a full and productive hygiene scheduleStock and clean rooms; sterilize instrumentsTake impressions when requiredComplete thorough and accurate patient clinical notesPerform additional duties as needed to support practice operationsKey Competencies Leading-Edge Clinical SkillsCustomer FocusTeam CollaborationGoal SettingProven Track RecordCommitment to Excellence Stress ManagementAdaptabilityActive Listening PersuasionTenacity Integrity Energy & Drive Enthusiasm & Passion
