Job Title: Physician (MD/DO) Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts (Days & Nights) Shift Options:• 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM • 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM • 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM • 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM • 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM • 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to provide high-quality emergency care in a high-volume Emergency Department and Urgent Care setting in Oklahoma. The department manages a combined volume of 200-230 patients per 24 hours across ED and UC services. The physician will provide comprehensive emergency care for patients of all ages, including both acute and chronic presentations. This position requires flexibility with scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Facility Details• 33 Total Beds - 13 Emergency Department beds - 20 ER Overflow beds• Double Physician Coverage • 200+ patients per 24-hour period (ED + UC) • 16-22 patients per physician per shift (based on acuity) • Expected 2.5-3 patients per hour • Cerner Electronic Health Record Responsibilities• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage emergency medical conditions across all age groups • Provide treatment for acute trauma and chronic medical conditions • Stabilize critically ill and injured patients • Perform emergency procedures as required • Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams • Utilize Cerner EHR for documentation • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards • Participate in day and night shift coverage Support & Backup• 24/7 Pediatrics in-house • 24/7 Hospitalist coverage • Specialty Call Support: - Orthopedics - STEMI Call - ENT - Podiatry - Nephrology (no inpatient dialysis) - OB - Behavioral Health• Typical Emergency Department acuity Requirements• MD or DO degree • Board Certified (preferred) or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine • Family Medicine boarded physicians with strong ED experience will be considered • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience • Active Oklahoma (OK) medical license required OR Active IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) accepted to start • ACLS, PALS, and BLS required • Comfortable treating pediatric and adult populations • Ability to manage high patient volumes efficiently • Strong clinical decision-making skills • Cerner experience highly preferred Ideal Candidate• Experienced in high-volume Emergency settings • Efficient with patient throughput and documentation • Flexible with scheduling (days, nights, weekends, holidays) • Strong teamwork and communication skills • Comfortable handling full spectrum emergency acuity
