Title: Temp - Technologist - MRI (Nights) New Lenox, ILDescription: Performs a variety of routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatients, outpatients and emergency department patients of all ages. Performs assigned supervisory functions. Maintains the standards of ARRT.Demonstrates courteous behavior through polite and respectful communication to all customers and adheres to the 7 customer service behaviorsVerifies physician orders for instructions from requesting physician and consults with the radiologists as necessary. Preps patient for exam. Assists radiologist with MR procedures as requested.Evaluates MRI images for technical qualityOperates and maintains MRI and associated equipment and supplies. Performs equipment warm up, calibration and safety check.Operates hospital computer system. Reports to supervisor any equipment malfunctions. Operates equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines for appropriate quality control.
