Cath Lab/EP Tech

Overview: Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac/electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures. Qualifications: Education * Graduate of Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) program Required Work Experience * 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience Required Licenses and Certifications * Depending on the education held above, one of the following is required Required * RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required or * RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Upon Hire Required or * RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required * BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and * ACLS Upon Hire Required Business Unit : Company Name: Piedmont Henry Hospital
