Lab Technician

Location: Cupertino, CA Introduction In this role, you will set up and manage a large-scale hardware rack testing environment for various firmware projects. You will manage a myriad of devices and fixtures which run on these device clusters and provide physical in-lab support to enable automated system testing on these racks. You will collaborate with the firmware and hardware engineering teams in setting up the test hardware configurations and work with the test automation team to troubleshoot test environment issues and improve lab automations. Required Skills & Qualifications 2 years of experience in building and managing labs with devices. Technical support experience or equivalent working knowledge in computer hardware and networking. Experience in managing MacOS and iOS devices. Experience in automating device management using Python, bash, and Ansible. Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving system and user-level issues in MacOS, iOS, or Linux. Team-player with good communication and documentation skills. Prior work experience in the client's industry. Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience working with customers and colleagues to identify and fix issues with hardware setups. Ability to provide problem-solving steps to resolve issues easily and effectively. Ability to help assemble custom test fixtures. Creative problem solver able to figure out ways to get things done quickly, efficiently, and professionally.
