Assistant Director of Nursing/MDS Coordinator

RAM Recruiting - Xenia Health and Rehab is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing / MDS Coordinator to support clinical leadership and oversee the MDS process within the facility. This dual-role position works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure regulatory compliance, accurate clinical documentation, and effective care planning. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in both clinical leadership and the MDS process within a skilled nursing environment. Key Responsibilities• Support the Director of Nursing in overseeing nursing operations• Coordinate and complete MDS assessments in accordance with regulatory requirements• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of MDS submissions• Participate in care plan development and interdisciplinary meetings• Monitor clinical documentation to support reimbursement and compliance• Assist with survey readiness and regulatory compliance• Help supervise nursing staff and support clinical leadership Qualifications• Active Ohio RN license required• Prior Skilled Nursing Facility experience required• MDS experience required• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and reimbursement processes• Knowledge of care planning and regulatory compliance• Strong organizational and communication skills What’s Being Offered• Competitive compensation aligned with experience• Strong leadership support• Stable facility environment• Opportunity for continued growth within the organization IND456
