The position will involve onsite work with various modalities including XR, CT, MR, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine. The subspecialty case mix includes Emergency, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, SMK, Neurology, Pediatrics, and Mammography Diagnostic Procedures. Light interventional radiology procedures will be part of the role. The Diagnostic Radiologist will perform biopsies on the thyroid, lung, liver, bone, and renal, as well as CT-guided and ultrasound-guided biopsies. Drainages including paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainages, chest tube insertions, and cyst drainages will also be expected. Additionally, the position includes performing diagnostic lumbar punctures, myelograms, epidurals, and arthrograms for joint injuries in the knee, elbow, hip, ankle, and shoulder. Daily volume expectations are between 90 to 100 cases with wRVUs between 60 to 70.
