Responsibilities Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavior ManagementDirector of Clinical Services- MSW, LISW-SThe Windsor-Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine is a 159-bed facility located in beautiful Willoughby, Ohio, which is a short drive from downtown Cleveland. Recognized as a Top Performer by The Joint Commission, the hospital provides 24-hour care and serves children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric, behavioral health, and substance abuse issues. Our multidisciplinary treatment team includes board certified psychiatrists, psychologists, registered nurses, licensed social workers, case managers, and milieu and activity therapists. Windsor-Laurelwood also features a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit for adults, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization programs. Qualifications Qualifications Experience/Education : Masters degree required. Minimum five years' supervisory experience required. Experience in working with all chemical dependency and mental health populations to include: child, adolescent, adult and recovery. Licensure: LISWS or LPCCS required. Additional Requirements : Ability to work occasional overtime and flexible hours as requested. Trained in non-violent crisis intervention training and CPR prior to accepting independent assignment or released from orientation. Position summary: This position is responsible for managing the day to day operation of all primary therapists and outpatient services. In addition, ensures quality delivery of national and local standards of care in both inpatient and outpatient services. Accurately observes and reports changes in patient's behavior, either as a response to treatment or as a sign of a potential problemPerforms and ensures admission procedures are carried out efficiently and in a supportive manner.Collects pertinent data for patient assessmentTeaches and reinforces unit's philosophy and regulations to staff, patients and visitorsImplements the hospital and unit policies regarding safety and security. Ensures appropriate procedures are followed in case of fire or fire drill, manages patient behavior and supervises groups closely to prevent injury and loss of control of patient and/or group Utilizes effective communication skills both verbally and in writing and ensures entries in medical record are legible and demonstrates correct usage of English.
