We have a high-energy, growing ENT practice with 5 offices across the triangle. Summary of the position:Audiologists will evaluate and manage the hearing and vestibular needs of patients of all ages in a fast-paced ENT practice. Job Responsibilities:Perform adult and pediatric diagnostic assessments while providing coverage for ENT physician's clinic Determine appropriate treatment plan including the fitting and dispensing of hearing instruments and assistive listening devicesPerform pediatric diagnostic assessments including DPOAEs, tympanometry, VRA and CPADetermine appropriate treatment plan for pediatric patients diagnosed with hearing lossEvaluate hearing devices, perform repairs and maintenance on devicesExamine vestibular disorders and provide appropriate treatment and/or recommendations (including evaluation/ treatment of BPPV)Counsel patients and their families on hearing loss and treatment plansDocument patient encounters in appropriate EMR systemEducate or train other medical staff on communication needs of the hearing impaired, as well as, teaching others on the topics of hearing loss.Qualifications:Audiology doctorate or Master's degree. A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred, but we will accept a strong new Au.D. graduate following completion of an externship with extensive ENT experience.Audiology license from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (required)License from North Carolina State Hearing Aid Dealers and Fitters Board (required if appropriate) Certification from the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and/or certification from the American Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Association (ASHA) or Certification from the American Board of Audiology (ABA) (recommended)Skills:A positive, flexible, collaborative attitude Customer service skillsStrong counseling and dispensing skillsDetailed oriented, organized and efficient with timeGood interpersonal and communication skillsPediatric diagnostic and dispensing experience preferredWillingness to grow and learn throughout careerMaintain best practices in AudiologyOperate audiometer, NOAH and Microsoft office
