Kids Club Summer Edition Co-Director / Behavioral Interventionist (Temporary - Summer)Dream Centers of Michigan is seeking a strong and compassionate leader to serve as Co-Director / Behavioral Interventionist for our 5-week Kids Club Summer Edition program. This program serves students in grades 1-5 through academic support, creative expression, and social development.This role partners closely with the Youth Education Program Manager to support daily operations while ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive environment for all students. The Co-Director / Behavioral Interventionist plays a key role in strengthening classroom management, supporting staff, and implementing proactive behavioral strategies that promote student success.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily operations and site leadership alongside the Program ManagerProvide coaching and support to staff in classroom management and behavior strategiesImplement and monitor behavioral support plans and interventionsRespond to and de-escalate student behavioral situations in real timeAssist with scheduling, classroom coverage, and team supportFloat between classrooms to ensure consistency and support across the programParticipate in all program activities, including field tripsQualificationsExperience working with elementary-aged students (grades 1-5)Background in behavioral intervention, student support, or classroom leadership requiredBachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferredStrong skills in behavior management, de-escalation, and staff coachingExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilitiesPassion for youth development and creating positive student experiencesDetailsSummer program - July 6 through August 7)Temporary, full-time, salaried, non-exemptMonday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PMIncludes required pre-program training (mid-late June)Please see the job description for additional information.
