We are a growing organization and have immediate openings for eager and driven professionals.The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for providing radiologic films as directed by the physician and maintaining radiology equipment and supplies. This position will be full-time. You must have an associate's degree in radiology or a related field from an accredited program. Candidates must be able to ease patients into the process of taking an x-ray and be able to explain each phase of the procedure. It is also very important to keep the imaging room clean and maintain all privacy regulations. The X-Ray Tech must also be able to efficiently manage a high-volume clinical environment and assist with the care and coordination of 150+ patients per day while maintaining accuracy, organization, and quality patient service. ARRT certification and a CRT license are required.Key Responsibilities:Manage and support a high-volume clinical environment, assisting with the care and coordination of 150+ patients per day while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and quality patient service.Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic (pain management) equipment to produce diagnostic images.Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.Review and assess images for quality and completeness.Collaborate with physicians to provide high-quality patient care.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education.Qualifications:Capable of managing a fast-paced, high-volume clinical setting with patient volumes exceeding 150 patients per day.Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.Current state license (CRT) and ARRT certification Proven experience in a clinical radiology setting preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Note: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Involves standing and walking. Employee will occasionally be asked to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds, as well as help lift patients onto the x-ray table. Normal visual acuity and hearing are required. Employee will work under stressful conditions and work irregular hours.
