A full-time opportunity is available for experienced school psychologists to support student mental health and educational success within a collaborative school environment in Denton, North Carolina. This contract position runs from August 4, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week on-site at various locations throughout the district. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for students suspected of having disabilities. Provide consultation, counseling, and crisis response services. Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support student well-being. Lead parent conferences to discuss student progress and needs. Deliver training sessions for school staff on relevant psychological practices. Participate actively in multi-disciplinary district-level teams. Manage a PreK-12 caseload, performing duties assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications and Experience: Active North Carolina DPI psychology license required (attach current licensure upon application). Proficiency with the Educational Child Tracking System (ECATS) is mandatory. Prior experience working in school settings, preferably within North Carolina. Strong skills in student assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention. Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to working on-site across multiple district campuses (note: mileage is not reimbursed). Location: This role is based at various school campuses within the district in Denton, NC, requiring onsite presence throughout the contract period.
