resident and their families and in the community In collaboration with the case manager liaison with the families and county workers to develop treatment plansNSPs and provide progress and updates on the residents treatment as well as to schedule CFTs and treatment conferences as indicated Compensation and Benefits The pay range were offering is 3200 to 3500 hourly depending Based on experience masters degree from an accredited or state approved graduate school as defined by the Department of Education in social work or social welfare marriage family and child counseling child psychology child development counseling psychology or social psychologyValid registration or licensed with the Board of Behavioral Sciences ACSW AMFT LCSW LMFT APCC LPCCSocial work staff shall be at least 21 years of ageCompletion of at least three 3 semester units or 100 days of field practice or experience in a public or private social service agency at the masters degree levelAt least nine 9 semester units of coursework related to children and families or 18 months experience in working with children and familiesAt least three semester units in working with minority populations or six months of experience in working with minority populations or six months in service training in working with minority populations within the first year of employment as a condition of employmentAt least three semester units in child welfare or two years experience in a public or private child welfare social services settingPrior mental health service experience strongly preferredPrior DMH mental health experience preferredOTHER SKILLS REQUIRED Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite MS Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and other office related softwarePossess superior oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skillsDetail oriented and organizedAble to work independently and organize multiple projects with minimum supervisionAble to work as a team memberAble to maintain the highest preferredPHYSICAL SKILLS REQUIRED Must pass pre employment physical exam TB and drug screeningAbility to commute to various sites on and off campusAbility to bend stoop and kneelAbility to lift 10 poundsKey Responsibilities Serve as the coordinator of care for the assigned case loadProvide mental health services including day rehab family therapy individual counseling and specialized groups as neededConsult with an interdisciplinary team for initial assessments and treatment needs In collaboration with Director of STRTP and coordinate with Residential Counselor staff in determining on going treatment needs and evaluating treatment strategiesMeet with each child for individual therapy at a minimum total of 1 hour weekly or as indicatedMeet with each childs familycaregiver as indicatedPlan implement and provide mental health services to clientsInitiate and maintain contacts with parentscaregivers establishing a therapeutic relationship aimed at reunification or other appropriate treatment goals Provide parentscaregivers with information regarding childs progress In collaboration with case managers arrange home passes and follow up on the outcome of these visits with county workers agreementBelieve that people can change; demonstrate an ability to understand the psychosocial needs of clients Understand the need to set limits and intervene in an emergency or refer situations to residential staff for assistance Provide consultation as needed to leaders of resident group meetingsRun group therapy meetings as needed and under the direction of the STRTP Supervisor of Clinical ServicesMaintain contact with county workers Provide written quarterly reports and discharge reports and participate in joint planning as necessaryIn collaboration with case managers maintain contact with school personnel regarding each clients academic performance and behavior and attend meetings as indicatedFacilitate cross campus therapy groups assignedMeet regularly with an interdisciplinary team to discuss treatment objectivesProvide crisis interventionRemain on call for clinical coverage and emergenciesRegularly take responsibility for the agencys clinical on call needsParticipate in chart reviews and other QA functionsMaintain all required documentation on a timely basis and in accordance with contractual and regulatory standardsAttend all required supervision department and agency meetingsTake responsibility for on going development of professional skillsAttend all required agency trainingParticipate in the agencys Performance and Quality Improvement PQI
