Assistant Director of Nursing $10,000 Sign-On-Bonus

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) SHIFT: Full-Time, Days ANNUAL SALARY: $90,760 - $97,760 (depending on experience) SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000 JOB DESCRIPTION: The ADON is responsible for monitoring nursing staff, nursing activities, and patient care, as well as ensuring nursing activities comply with federal, state, and local standards. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department, following current rules, regulations, and guidelines * Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating our written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the department * Act as a team member, team leader, and supervisor to ensure work is accomplished and quality care is delivered * Support team members and leaders in a way that celebrates and encourages hard work and success * Ensure that all nursing personnel are following their respective job descriptions * Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc. * Help determine staffing needs * Provide direct nursing care as necessary REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum of one-year experience in nursing service administration required * Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York required * Education or experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred * Must be able to demonstrate age-specific knowledge of developmental factors for adult and geriatric residents * Demonstrate effective communication skills, problem-solving, and conflict resolution * Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable * Strong customer service skills and compassion BENEFITS: * Weekly Paychecks * Health, Dental, Life Insurance * Referral Bonus up to $500/referral * Retirement/401k * Clinically Complex Positions
