You Belong Here.Patient Care Tech - PCT - Cardiac Surgery StepdownFull Time - Day shift - 36 hours.The Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU) is a 32-bed adult inpatient surgical unit. The unit offers 3 levels of care: floor, telemetry, and intermediate care for acute cardiac, vascular, and other surgical patients requiring cardiac monitoring. Care and services provided: coronary artery bypass, Heartmate© II or III & Heartware© mechanical circulatory support devices, valve replacement or repairs, Type A & B aortic dissections, fem-pop bypass, scalenectomy, TAVR, heart or lung transplantation.What awaits you:Our competitive Benefit Package is designed to support the well-being and financial security of our employees and includes:Full medical, dental, and vision plans,Paid time off (PTO),Tuition reimbursement for you and your dependentsTell a friend and get paid with our Employee Referral Program Bonus!Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredActive Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.One year of clinical experience e.g., home care, outpatient, acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered.BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.Important Notices:***Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.Salary Range: Minimum 18.41/hour - Maximum 27.70/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
