Job Description

Come join our team as a clinical team leader at one of our state of the art, skilled nursing facilities. The Assistant Director of Nursing is a process-oriented person who works directly with the facility DON and nursing team to implement the nursing systems and processes to ensure the facility meets the medical, physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of all patients.PAY RATE: $95,00 to $115,000 depending on licensure and experienceRESPONSIBILITIESAssists and supports the DON and possesses a thorough understanding of the DON job description and to be able to assist in his/her duties as necessary and successfully manage the facility during the absence of the Administrator and DON.Supports the overall facility goals, policy and chain of command.Resource nurse for patient care related questions or problems.Monitors patient care and environment by making daily rounds independently and with DON.Oversees the clinical systems in the facility: infection control (acts as the facility Infection Preventionist); skin integrity team and fall reduction/management team.Assists with system/process education for the nursing team and performs ongoing in-service training as needed based on QAPI initiativesAccepts, researches and solves complaints/concerns regarding new admissions.Assists as need in the interviewing, hiring and coaching of the nursing team.Performs chart/charting audits to ensure proper care, treatments and documentation.Acts as a member of the Infection Control and QAPI Team.Assists with nursing meetings on all shifts.QUALIFICATIONS:Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, RN, and have a current license in the state in which he/she is practicing.Needs clinical leadership experience and good attention to detail to ensure the facility has appropriate clinical oversight and leadership to promote excellent care deliveryExcellent interpersonal communication skillsHigh level problem solving, system/process analysis, critical thinking skillsMust be in good health.
