A contract school psychologist position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Minneapolis, MN. This role involves working with elementary and middle school students, providing comprehensive psychological services to support academic and emotional development. The position starts on August 31, 2026, and ends on June 4, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Responsibilities include developing and supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), delivering counseling and behavioral interventions, collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and staff, and assisting with crisis intervention and student safety planning. The caseload includes 25-35 elementary students (K-5) and 20-30 middle school students (6-8) within one building environment. Key Qualifications: Must hold a valid Minnesota School Psychologist license Experience providing psychological services in an elementary and middle school setting Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs Skilled in behavioral and counseling interventions Strong collaborative and communication skills for working with diverse stakeholders Ability to manage crisis situations effectively and contribute to student safety planning Location: Services will be provided at Willow Lane Elementary (3375 Willow Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110) and Central Middle School (4857 Bloom Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110).
