Position Type: Classroom Aides/ParaeducatorDate Posted: 3/19/2026Location: MC White Oak Early Learning CenterDate Available: 03/23/2026Status: Part-time Schedule: 6.75 Hours/Day (8:30 am-3:15 pm) Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 185 Days/Year - Early Intervention follows a stretch calendar that includes a summer session.Minimum Hourly Salary: $18.90To view a description of IU13 classrooms & other student services, click here: OF POSITION:The paraeducators assigned to special education classes or programs provide instructional support to the teacher (instructional leader) and students and are under the general supervision of the program supervisor of special education.Requirements:High School Diploma or GED, andHold a PA Paraeducator Credential of Competency Certificate (or be willing to complete the FREE online program within 6 months of hire date), orCompleted a minimum of 48 post secondary credits in ANY content area, orCompleted associate degree or higher in ANY content area, andWilling to complete 20 hours of staff development each school year AND As required by the PA Department of Education: Each school year, provide evidence of 20 hours of staff development activities related to position. Pro-ration will apply based on date of hire within the school year.ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT:The strength and ability to lift and/or assist in lifting students ranging in age from pre-school to twenty-one and any assistive appliances, for example: wheelchair.
