LTC Staff Pharmacist - Grove City, Ohio

A growing closed-door Long Term Care pharmacy in Grove City, OH, is seeking two IV Certified Pharmacists to join their expanding team. These direct hire opportunities include an IV Lead Pharmacist on first shift and an IV Staff Pharmacist on second shift, both requiring Ohio licensure in-hand. Location: Grove City, OH Positions & Schedule: IV Lead Pharmacist (1st shift): Monday - Friday, flexible hours 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM IV Staff Pharmacist (2nd shift): Monday - Friday, flexible hours 4:30 PM - 12:00 AM or 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM Start: ASAP Key Responsibilities: Evaluate medication orders for appropriate drug selection, dosage, interactions, and administration methods Provide therapeutic recommendations to physicians and facility staff as needed Maintain comprehensive customer medication profiles, including clinical and laboratory data Investigate and resolve medication-related questions promptly Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams regarding medication concerns Supervise medication preparation ensuring accuracy and safety Maintain controlled substances registers and ensure compliance with legal and stock control protocols Ensure proper security and storage conditions for all medications Perform on-call duties as required Qualifications & Desired Experience: Current Ohio Pharmacist License (must be in-hand) IV Certification required Experience in Long Term Care pharmacy operations and handling controlled substances essential Strong clinical judgment with the ability to make informed therapy recommendations Excellent communication and supervisory skills This direct hire role offers a competitive hourly rate in the $60.00 - $65.00 range, depending on experience.
