The role requires flexibility to float between two locations within the region, providing essential pharmacy services to inpatient care teams. Location: Aurora and Denver, CO Schedule: Day shift 36-40 hours per week Weekdays: 10-hour shifts Weekends: 6-hour shifts Floating approximately 3 days per week in Aurora and 1-2 days per week in Denver, with adjustments as business needs evolve Key Responsibilities: Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain workflow efficiency Apply pharmacokinetic principles for dosing adjustments and therapeutic monitoring Consult directly with physicians and nursing staff to optimize pharmacotherapy Manage inpatient pharmacy operations in compliance with hospital policies and regulations Desired Experience and Qualifications: Current Colorado pharmacist license Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy experience, with demonstrated hospital or inpatient care expertise Strong clinical judgment and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Excellent communication skills for effective interdisciplinary teamwork This is a 13-week contract position with an ASAP start date, offering a chance to engage with healthcare professionals in two metro locations while delivering critical pharmacy services.
