OPEN POSITION: Physician - GastroenterologistSCHEDULE: - Full-Time- Monday to Friday- 9:00am to 5:00pm- No Nights- No Weekends- No HolidaysCOMPENSATION:- $350,000+ Starting Base Salary, negotiable dependent upon experience- Generous Bonus Plan- Malpractice Insurance- Medical / Dental / Vision Insurance- Paid Time Off Package- 401k- Full Details NegotiableLOCATION: Delray Beach, FloridaCOMPANY PROFILE: The hiring organization is a rapidly growing, multispecialty physician group practice serving Palm Beach and Broward counties.  They pride themselves in being a value-based, care-focused, integrated healthcare delivery system committed to providing comprehensive, high quality care with respect and integrity.  They boast a team of more than 100 providers and more than 30 offices, with services that include, but are not limited to, gastroenterology, primary care, cardiology, neurology, hematology/oncology, and laboratory services.POSITION DESCRIPTION: The new physician will join an established team, providing gastroenterology services for a panel of adult patients.  The office has a staff of 4 gastroenterologists, 2 nurse practitioners, and 1 physician assistant.The position is 100% outpatient, with both general and procedural days scheduled.  Overall duties include, but are not limited to:- perform colonoscopies- perform EGDs- perform other gastroenterology procedures- conduct physical examinations to make diagnoses- discuss patient medical histories and symptoms- develop and communicate treatment plans- modify treatment plans based on patient progress- order bloodwork, imaging, and other tests- prescribe medications, treatments, and lifestyle changes- communicate with patients about their health concernsA variable number of patients per day are seen, based upon provider preference and types of appointments scheduled.All visits are prepped and supported by dedicated clinical assistants.The practice utilizes an EHR.On-call is minimal with little activity.  The current shared rotation is 1:6.  REQUIREMENTS:- Florida medical license- DEA- Board Certification or Eligibility, GastroenterologyHOW TO APPLY:To apply for this position, please send your resume to Jenn Kunkel at jenn@ or call (773) 998-1272.Please visit /jobs for a full list of openings at CHS Recruiting.Powered by JazzHR
