A current vacancy exists for the 2025-2026 school year for a School Psychologist within the Norristown Area School District at Norristown Area High School.* Sign On Bonus (In addition to Salary): $3,000 * Special Education additional Stipend: $1,000Qualifications: Valid PA certification in School Psychology required Master's Degree required Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required Bilingual in Spanish Preferred Duties and Responsibilities: Completion of school-age evaluations, re-evaluations, gifted evaluations, etc. Consult with teachers to educate them on various disabilities and provide strategies on how to work with them in the classroom. Collaborate with school teams regarding appropriate interventions for students and be part of the threat assessment team. Maintain compliance for all evaluations and re-evaluations. Provide suicide risk and prevention training, threat assessment training, etc. Collaborate with school based teams and parents to determine the need for an evaluation. Complete evaluations and re-evaluations for out of district students, non-public school students, and students transitioning from early intervention into the district. Stay aprised of testing protocols and different types of assessments that benefit students. Other duties as assigned. 2025-2026 Salary Schedule: experience calculated per contract agreement not to exceed step 10Bachelor's - $58,165 to $73,581 (Step 10) Bachelor's + 24 - $62,490 to $81,256 (Step 10) Master's - $66,299 to $88,419 (Step 10) Master's + 15 - $69,165 to $92,419 ((Step 10) Master's + 30 - $72,026 to $96,420 (Step 10) Master's + 45 - $72,528 to $96,959 (Step 10) Doctorate/Master's + 60 - $73,028 to $97,497 (Step 10)
