Clinical Application Specialist - Northeast SummaryThe primary responsibility of the Clinical Application Specialist is to support customers through training of recently purchased capital equipment and medical devices. This position will be subject matter experts in the science behind the equipment. They will utilize this knowledge to help support the sales team as needed. As part of a team effort, this position will assist in the continual improvement and development of training and training programs as needed. Territory: This person will be responsible for the Northeast area of the US.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Travel to customer locations Training customers to use Alma medical devices safely and effectively Provide support to the sales team for medical and technical questionsCreate and improve training as a teamSchedule and confirm training with customers Complete In-service reports after training are completedBook travel to customer sites CompetenciesInitiativeProblem Solving/AnalysisTechnical CapacityOrganizational SkillsCommunication ProficiencyAbility to retain large amounts of information Education and Experience RequiredHigh school degree, Bachelor's degree preferred but not required, or equivalent experienceRegistered Nurse, Physician's Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Medical Aesthetician preferred but not required.Skills RequiredPositive attitude and approach to the job responsibilities and the Alma teamMicrosoft Applications (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Excellent organizational skillsAbility to multitask Experience in building out a Learning Management System (LMS) is a positive but not requiredSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no direct reports but assists in mentoring peers and other departments as needed. Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This role will often travel and train in environments such as Doctors' offices, hospitals, and Spas.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. TravelThis position requires 80% travel as needed.
