As part of our Radiology Department, we are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated CAT Scan (CT) Technologist to join our team and contribute to high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced hospital environment. The CT Technologist performs computed tomography (CT) scans to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The technologist is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy. This role involves direct patient care, operation of advanced CT equipment, and collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities: * Perform CT procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols. * Position patients correctly and safely for imaging procedures. * Operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images. * Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and appropriate anatomical detail. * Administer IV contrast media following established safety guidelines and protocols. * Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation in the electronic health record system (EHR/PACS). * Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond promptly to emergencies. * Maintain cleanliness and readiness of CT equipment and exam rooms. * Adhere to all radiation safety regulations and infection control policies. * Provide excellent communication and care to patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns. * Participate in on-call or rotating shifts as required. Qualifications: * Minimum one year of previous experience * Active Florida Radiologic Technologist License required * ARRT Certification required * BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification from the American Heart Association required * Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred * Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with CAT SCAN training. * Per-Diem (as needed) ; Alternate Weekends
