Job Title: Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Physician (Physiatrist) Location: Bethlehem, PA Job Type: Full-TimeA well-established healthcare organization in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Physician (Physiatrist) to join its growing pediatric rehabilitation team. This is a great opportunity for a physician who is passionate about helping children with complex medical and developmental conditions improve their quality of life.You will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with experienced rehabilitation professionals and have the flexibility to develop your clinical interests. Key Responsibilities • Perform pediatric rehabilitation evaluations and follow-up visits• Provide physiatry consultations when needed• Participate in the on-call rotation• Provide medical leadership and support within the rehabilitation program• Supervise and mentor medical students or residents when assigned• Participate in quality improvement initiatives• Stay current with medical advancements through continuing medical education (CME) Clinical Focus This role involves working with pediatric patients with a variety of rehabilitation needs, including:• Neurological disorders• Musculoskeletal conditions• Cardiopulmonary impairments• Cerebral palsy and spasticity management• Brain injury and concussion care• Neuromuscular disorders• Rehabilitation needs of NICU graduatesPhysicians may have the opportunity to work in inpatient, outpatient, and consultative settings depending on interests and program needs.
