This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to contribute within a K-12 school setting across multiple buildings, primarily serving middle to high school students. The role focuses on conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing or revising Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs), with an emphasis on evaluating and removing plans for students in higher grades who demonstrate progress. Collaboration with the district's behavior team and other IEP-related staff is key to ensuring comprehensive support for the students. Key Responsibilities: Conduct FBAs to assess student behavior needs Develop, implement, and modify PBSPs Evaluate the necessity of existing PBSPs, particularly for older students, and document changes accordingly Collaborate closely with the behavior team and IEP staff to provide cohesive support Maintain accurate records and detailed documentation related to behavior assessments and interventions Qualifications and Experience: Must hold full Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings, preferably with middle and high school populations Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies and educational regulations related to IEPs Effective communication and teamwork skills to partner with multidisciplinary teams Location: Bethlehem, PA (working with schools in the Allentown area) Contract term available through June 10, 2026, with an immediate start date.
