This role requires an experienced cath lab technologist skilled in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of hospital-based experience in these areas and hold current RCIS, BLS, and ACLS certifications. The position involves working within a versatile interventional lab equipped with three Siemens suites, managing 4-5 cases daily, including complex diagnoses such as chest pain, pulmonary hypertension, and deep vein thrombosis. Key Responsibilities: Perform intra-procedural circulating duties including supply management, medication administration, and sedation. Utilize EPIC and Apollo cardiac charting systems effectively during patient care. Float as needed across three campuses located within 6-15 miles, responding to emergent calls within a 30-minute radius. Adhere strictly to safety protocols including the use of radiation badges and compliance with artificial nail policies. Collaborate with cardiologists and supervisors during regular hours and on-call shifts. Qualifications & Experience: At least 3 years of hospital-based experience in cardiac cath and interventional radiology. Valid driver's license and residence within a 50-mile radius of the main campus to ensure timely on-call response. Proficient in EPIC, Apollo, and Siemens equipment. Ability to work a minimum of 10 weeknight shifts and 2 weekend shifts with call responsibilities, including holidays. Commitment to follow dress code and professional standards in patient care areas. Schedule & Call Requirements: Regular hours: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. On-call coverage: Evenings, weekends, and holidays with a 30-minute call response time. Schedule approval by supervisor with floating across campuses as required.
