JOB DETAILS:Practice Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center Reason for Coverage: Loss of provider Call Schedule: No call during locum period; call expected if placed perm; call schedule is 1 week out of every 6-8 weeks Call Ratio: No call during locum period; call expected if placed perm; call schedule is 1 week out of every 6-8 weeks Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, Geriatric What Percentage of the Practice is Hematology %, Oncology %, Internal Medicine %: 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology, 0% internal medicine Number of Physicians in Practice: 7 How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 6 Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT: 25 Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL (Call/Rounding): 20 Clinical Area: Oncology - Outpatient Setting, Oncology - Inpatient Setting Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital): N/A Documentation System/EMR: EPICAvailability requirements: 4 week availability each month, with 4 days of availability each week- must be able to work for at least 6 month initial contractRequired Duties: Participation on a Tumor Board, Mgmt. of Bone Marrow Transplants, Blood Bank, Orders Tests, Orders Images, Prescribes Administration of Chemotherapy: Nurse Oncologist **Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 Days Submission Requirements Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology - [REQUIRED] Active SC license - [REQUIRED] BLS & DEA - [ REQUIRED]Clean background required for Emergency temps - [REQUIRED]Availability requirements: 4 week availability each month, with 4 days of availability each week- must be able to work for at least 6 month initial contract - [REQUIRED]A Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation.
