Mammography Tech for Imaging Department; days, M-F, 0730-1600. No on call, no weekends, no float. 2 years of experience MINIMUM, 5 years preferred. 1st Time Traveler OK. Adult/geriatric patients, Pyxis system, Radiology provider support, EPIC documentation. 8hr orientation. Caribbean blue scrubs, not provided.Certifications REQUIRED: BLS (AHA only, no HeartCode), IEMA, ARRT registered in Mammography. Must have 40 contact hours of documented training specific to mammography under the supervision of a qualified instructor. These areas to include anatomy and physiology, positioning and compression, quality control/assurance and imaging patients with implants; and have performed 25 exams under the direct supervision of a qualified individual and havecompleted 8 hours of training in each mammographic modality used by the technologist.Experience REQUIRED: Outpatient; 3-D Mammography; Diagnostic Mammograms; Digital Mammography; Screening Mammograms; Hologic 3D; Hologic Affirm BX; Isolation Precautions; Radiation Safety; Universal Precautions/Core MeasuresExperience Preferred: Fine Needle Aspirations; Needle Localizations; Stereotactic Biopsy; Digital Quality Assurance Procedures; EPIC documentation.
