This pivotal position offers an incredible opportunity for a seasoned leader to impact patient care quality and operational effectiveness within the Internal Medicine Surgery department.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee daily nursing operations, maintaining the highest standards of patient care.Lead and mentor nursing staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute comprehensive patient care plans.Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.QualificationsPossession of an active New York State RN license.Master's degree in Nursing with a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including 3 years in a supervisory or teaching capacity, or a Bachelor's degree in Nursing with 6 years of experience, including 4 years in a supervisory or teaching capacity.Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.Position DetailsLocation: Brooklyn, NY, Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day
