Specific Duties and ResponsibilitiesRecruit, train, and motivate volunteers for meaningful service in First Orlando's Kids MinistryProvide high-quality care for children Create an atmosphere full of fun and relationshipCreate opportunities to encourage children to follow Jesus Ensure all safety protocols are followed in your areaKnow, understand, and follow First Orlando SAFE guidelines at all timesEnsure room setup is complete prior to accepting childrenTake steps to clean and put away items at the close of childcareAttend trainings as needed and/or required by the ministrySupport all First Orlando NextGen global initiativesOther duties as assigned and needed based on eventRequirementsJob RequirementsFirst Follower - demonstrates a passion to follow Jesus and a commitment to growing as a believerPeople Person - strong at building and maintaining relationships with kids and parentsTone Setter - positive interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic approach to KIDS ministryChange Agent - ability to improve processesFlexibility in schedule with weeknight and weekend required availbilitySupport the mission and beliefs of First OrlandoLove kids and families and strive to point them to JesusEducation and ExperienceHigh School DegreePrior experience with childcare in a school, daycare or church settingPhysical RequirementsThe work is performed mostly in an indoor environment but may require being outside in theheat/weather during special events.
