Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and management/charge experience for a 13-week night shift contract in an acute care hospital setting.Job Details• Acute care hospital setting within the CT Scan / Diagnostic Imaging department,• Patient population includes ER patients; procedures include virtual colonography and gated procedures in addition to general CT,• Caseload of 10-20 scans per shift depending on the shift; evenings are the busiest,• Two CT scanners on unit: Siemens Sensation 64 and GE 16 Light Speed,• Charting via Cerner; McKesson PACS used for imaging,• Radiologist is not on-site 24/7; Nighthawk is used for night shift radiology coverage,• 8-hour night shifts,• Holiday coverage follows the same schedule as weekends and is worked into rotation,• May float within the Radiology department,Job Requirements• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required,• Management or charge experience required,• Active BLS, ARRT-CT, and ARRT-R certifications required; pending certifications will not be accepted,• Active CA state license required; pending licenses will not be accepted - license required if applicable,• Experience with virtual colonography and gated CT procedures preferred,• A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration,• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire,Additional Information• Perform general CT scanning including ER studies, virtual colonography, and gated procedures,• Teal scrubs required,• Orientation consists of 3-4 shifts,• Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
