American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience and required GE Scanner proficiency for a night shift travel contract in Richmond, VA.Job Details• Position is in the CT section of a hospital Radiology department,• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM on weekends,• On-call rotation every 6 weeks covering Mon-Thu 3:00 PM-9:30 PM, Fri 3:00 PM-7:00 AM, and Sat-Sun 7:00 AM-7:00 AM (6.5, 15.5, and 24-hour durations),• GE Scanner equipment is used for CT imaging procedures,• Epic EMR experience is preferred,• May be required to perform general radiographic examinations in addition to CT,• May be asked to cover at other facilities within the market,Job Requirements• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required; 2 years of Radiology experience preferred,• ARRT(R) registration and ARRT(CT) certification required,• Current BLS required,• ACLS preferred,• VA Radiology License required if applicable,• GE Scanner experience required,• Epic EMR experience preferred,• Broad range of technical skills with a detailed working knowledge of CT/Radiology modalities,• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates,• Candidates must provide proof of address, full SSN, DOB (MM/DD), 1 supervisory reference, and copy of certifications for consideration,Additional Information• Performs CT imaging examinations including IV contrast injections, patient prep, equipment setup, and post-procedure room cleaning and restocking,• Responsible for radiation safety compliance in accordance with ODH and Joint Commission requirements,• Performs clerical duties related to patient care documentation and maintains equipment maintenance logs and QC testing records,• Educates patients and/or family members on procedures as needed,• Two-step interview process: initial interview followed by a second interview with the hiring manager,• Pass/fail EKG test administered on the first day of orientation; two attempts allowed and a study guide will be provided
