Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience and Philips equipment proficiency for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma Center in Mount Clemens, MI.Job Details• 288-bed tertiary teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Center,• CT Scan department performing a full range of diagnostic computerized tomography procedures,• 3x12-hour midshift or 4x10-hour shifts available,• Every other weekend required,• On-call may be required,• Charting in Cerner EMR,Job Requirements• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required,• Philips CT equipment experience required,• Current ARRT certification and BLS required,• Michigan state license required if applicable,• Travel experience preferred,Additional Information• Responsibilities include setting up and operating CT equipment, positioning patients, administering IV contrast media per Radiologist protocol, and monitoring patients for adverse reactions,• Performs electronic/digital image capture, storage, transfer, and archiving,• Conducts daily equipment calibration and quality control in accordance with department guidelines,• Assists Radiologists and physician specialists with specialized radiological procedures,• Supports emergency medical situations including basic CPR,• Navy blue scrubs required,• Current or former full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for this contract within six months of their employment end date,• Candidates residing within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers and are subject to a reduced travel pay rate,• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment,• First-time travelers will be considered, though travel experience is preferred
