Inova Northern Virginia Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to support intraoperative imaging in a fast-paced, team-oriented surgical environment. This is a unique opportunity to expand your skillset beyond traditional radiology and become an integral part of the operating room team.Our center is a state-of-the-art outpatient facility focused on delivering exceptional surgical care with efficiency, safety, and compassion. You'll work alongside experienced surgeons, nurses, and surgical technologists in a collaborative setting where your expertise directly impacts patient outcomes.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Provide real-time imaging support during surgical procedures using C-arm and mini C-arm equipmentMonitor and uphold radiation safety standards for patients, physicians, and staff Ensure compliance with equipment inspections, dosimeter monitoring, and regulatory requirementsMaintain proficiency with C-arm, and mini C-arm equipmentInspect and maintain protective equipment including lead aprons and shieldsCollaborate closely with surgeons and OR staff to ensure optimal imaging and workflowIdentify opportunities to improve processes, equipment, and patient careSupport overall OR efficiency by assisting with additional perioperative duties as assignedMaintains all records for inspections and radiation monitoring REQUIREMENTS: Completion of an appropriate radiographic technician program. Certification preferred.
