The Interventionist provides focused instruction in the area of mathematics to students who are struggling academically. The Interventionist may also co-teach to support student learning. Provides high quality personalized mathematics instruction to individual students and small groups. Uses data to provide instruction to students and to bring their skills to grade-level. Collaborates with teachers, administration, and families to help identify best practices for individual and small groups of students.Use identified research-based interventions focused specifically on individual student needs.Monitor, report, and communicate student progress and performance to students, parents, teachers and administration.See attached job description for additional knowledge, skills and abilities required.Qualifications:B.A/B.S degree in teaching from an accredited institution or related field teachingMinnesota State certification in mathematics at middle school level.
