An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide critical respiratory care in a hospital setting. This contract position requires expertise in managing respiratory equipment and delivering emergency interventions for patients needing respiratory support. Responsibilities: Set up and operate devices including therapeutic gas administration apparatus and mechanical ventilators. Provide emergency respiratory care such as external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation assistance. Maintain accurate patient charts with identification and therapy details. Float to different units as needed to support respiratory care services. Work in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the facility. Qualifications: Current RCP license in the state of practice. Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Minimum of 1 year experience in respiratory care, including emergency and intensive care settings. Strong knowledge of pulmonary function, rehabilitation, and respiratory equipment. Basic nursery experience is a plus.
