Ensure that no voice goes unheard, and no joy goes unnoticed!Responsibilities:Oversee the needs and supports of 6-8 individuals in services in a residential group home setting. Our programs are designed to provide community inclusion, individual choice, safety, and a comfortable home atmosphereOversee 10-20 Direct Support Staff (dependent upon size of program and level of individual supports needed) and their supports of individuals in services including active treatment, community inclusion, and personal choiceReview and oversee Direct Support Staff daily and monthly documentation including daily care logs, individual goal data, behavior data and inter-staff communicationsWith the Nursing Team, review Medication Administration Records (MARs) for accuracyEnsure the home/program has a high standard of cleanliness and decorationAssist Direct Support Staff to ensure completion of cleaning duties, address safety concerns, and keep the home/program stocked with food and suppliesEnsure completion of weekly and monthly inspections such as fire/earthquake drills and vehicle inspectionsConduct and facilitate weekly planning meetings to coordinate program supports and individual goals/activitiesReview Direct Support Staff timecards in Paychex for accuracy and approve/evaluate time offWork with the Program Director and Hiring Manager to optimize employee schedulesWith Program Director, ensure Direct Support Staff training compliance and provide opportunities for growth and developmentMaintain a high degree of communication with your team, be responsive and available to emergencies, and be able to adjust your schedule to assist with program needsEnsure completion of incident reportingWork with the Nursing Team and Program Director to facilitate medical, dental, and mental health appointmentsWork with the Behavior Analyst Team in providing quality Positive Behavior Support services and following Analyst-written Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)Attend yearly and as needed Person Centered Support Plan (PCSP) meetings with State Caseworkers, family, guardians, and other members of each individual's care team; Advocate for need supports and servicesUse Quicken to track individual expenses and purchases in coordination with Program Director and Finance DirectorMaintain an accurate program census of services providedQualifications*At least 2 yrs of experience working with the Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities population is requiredDriving Status with Danville is required to facilitate individual transportation as needed (Must be at least 21-yrs-old, have a valid driver's license, have 3+ yrs of driving experience, and a clean driving record)Strong caregiving skills with a focus on supporting individuals with developmental disabilitiesExcellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals and their familiesAbility to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide direct careAbility to use Microsoft Office SuiteWillingness to learn and adapt in a caregiving environmentPatience, Understanding, Joy and LaughterCreativity and EnthusiasmWillingness to pass a background investigationBeneficial, But Not RequiredKnowledge of Therap, Quicken, and/or Relias Training SystemExperience in group home settings or long-term careExperience as a supervisorCPR/First Aid Certification (will be provided if needed)You Will Gain:Experience with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, including autism, acquired brain injury, down syndrome, and many other unique needsCaregiving skillsKnowledge of medical, psychological, and social supportsPositive Behavior Supports, relationship building, and communication skillsExperience with Quicken, Therap, Relias, and Microsoft Office SuiteManagement, leadership, mediation and conflict resolution skillsRelationships with doctors, therapists, social workers, and industry leaders in the ID/DD fieldOpportunities for advancement within Danville ServicesWage and Benefits:$19-$21 per hourFull-Time (40 hrs) - Schedule is flexible based around the current needs of the program$250 Sign-On Bonus upon completion of trainingOffered for eligible employees - PTO, Medical, Dental and Life Insurance; Short/Long Term Disability; Employee Assistance Program; Flex Spending AccountPhone stipendOngoing training and developmentAmazing time with the most wonderful people you'll ever meet!
