Assessment Center Assistant, Part Time JobID: 677 Position Type: Academic Support Date Posted: 2/9/2026 Location: Illinois Valley Community College Date Available: 03/23/2026 Closing Date: scheduling interviews Additional Information: Show/Hide Description: Assessment Center Assistant, Part Time Reports To: Assessment Center Coordinator Work Locations: Oglesby Campus, Ottawa Center, Off-campus Testing Sites Salary Range: Non-exempt, salary range $17.47 to $21.84 per hour based on education and experience, Part-Time not to exceed 29 hours per week; click link to view part-time benefits on page 2, Benefits At A Glance - Staff Position Summary: Perform duties related to the administration of exams including tasks such as: scheduling, testing, and recording and reporting activities as they relate to the day to day operations of the Assessment Center all while providing excellent customer service. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education, communication, business or an academic discipline; flexibility in scheduling and able to work on as-needed basis Monday through Friday; demonstrated ability to learn on the job and participate actively in development; knowledge of basic desktop computer operations; strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written); ability to carry out oral and written instructions; driver's license or reliable transportation for off-campus testing within IVCC District required. Must not be involved in Adult Basic Education and/or High School Equivalency instruction.
