Yes o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes• Patient Types: o Respiratory services, including patients on nebs, MDI inhalers, and chest PT - Acute cases: RSV, Entero-Rhino viruses that usually require high flow oxygen and suctioning, Flu, intubated patients in ICU for medical or post-surgical reasons; Chronic cases: Asthma, SMA• Patient Ratios: o 1:1• Required Certifications: o RRT, NRP, BLS, PALS, RRT-NPS (preferred)• Skills required o Registered respiratory care practitioner o Experience with peds o Invasive and non-invasive ventilation experience, Servo ventilator, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO), airway clearance techniques, aerosol delivery, High flow devices• Support on the Unit: o Charge therapist often takes a patient assignment• Charting System: o EPIC o Pyxis o Alaris• Floating: If yes, where? o NICU, PICU, General care peds floors, Peds ER (in rotation)• Orientation: (facility and unit) o 1 shift to learn the flow• Scheduling: o Weekend rotation: Every other o Will they be on call? No o Holiday Expectations: 1 summer/1 winter o Approval of time off? Time off to go through manager
