An opportunity is available for an experienced Mammography Technologist to join a healthcare facility in Los Angeles, CA. This contract position involves working in a dynamic medical imaging environment with a focus on mammography, including both screening and diagnostic procedures. Responsibilities: Perform 2D and 3D screening and diagnostic mammography Conduct wire localizations, radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies Float to various departments within the main campus as needed Maintain high standards of patient care and safety Adhere to department protocols and regulations Participate in on-call rotations as requested (no mandatory on-call) Qualifications and Experience: Valid Mammography Technologist CA License and CRT (M) certification (Required) ARRT certification (Highly preferred) Current BLS certification (Required) Minimum of 2 years' experience in mammography Ability and willingness to float between departments First-time travel technologists welcome to apply Schedule: Monday through Friday, with Saturday rotation Shifts generally between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM (hours may vary according to department needs) Day shift, typically 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts This role is contract-based and offers a chance to gain valuable experience in a reputable medical imaging department while working in a lively urban environment.
