Per Diem Med TechDepartment: Assisted LivingEmployment Type: FlexibleLocation: Chelsea, MICompensation: $18.51 - $22.31 / hourDescriptionSchedule: Per Diem | Flexible | No scheduling mandation | Per Diem Team Members are required to work a minimum of 5 shifts per month, based on the needs of the department. 2 of the 5 shifts must be on a weekend. Per Diem Team Members must meet all training requirements within the first 30 days of hire. This will include required training during normal business hours on weekdays (4 minimum weekday training requirements to be completed within 2 weeks of hire)Shift Premiums: 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm $1.00 | 10:31 pm - 7:00 am $0.75 | Weekend (Fri 10:31 pm - Sun 11:00 pm) $1.00 Department: Chelsea Retirement Community | Glazier Commons-Assisted Living/Towsley Village-Memory Care | Chelsea, MIWhat You'll Do in This Role:As a Medication Technician, you'll play a vital role in providing essential daily care to older adults, ensuring their well-being, dignity, and comfort. If you thrive in a supportive, team-oriented environment and love building connections with residents, this is the role for you!Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister Medications & Treatments - Pass medications and provide treatments safely according to care plans.Provide Hands-On Care - Assist residents with personal care (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.Support Mealtime - Help residents enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for overall health.Promote Mobility - Assist with turning, positioning, and safe transfers to keep residents moving safely.Perform Vital Checks - Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.Maintain Comfort & Care - Keep residents' rooms tidy, cozy, and stocked with essentials.Respond to Resident Needs - Answer call lights promptly and provide compassionate support.Monitor Resident Conditions - Report any changes to the leadership team immediately.Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism - Maintain confidentiality while delivering high-quality care.
