Students rotate through teacher-led instruction, independent and personalized learning via technology, small-group work, and project-based learning, all aligned to individual learning needs.Opportunities & Choice (C Day):One day per week, students select academic supports (e.g., tutoring, study groups, office hours) and enrichment opportunities aligned to their interests, fostering ownership, agency, and engagement.Postsecondary Support:From day one, Intrinsic students receive comprehensive postsecondary planning and support, including counseling, early college credit opportunities, and financial guidance, ensuring alignment between student goals and post-graduation pathways.Job SummaryThe primary focus of this role is to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students with disabilities or those suspected of having disabilities. This role is vital in supporting our Special Education team in identifying and addressing student needs in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Key Responsibilities:Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations in accordance with IDEA and Illinois state guidelinesParticipate in eligibility and IEP meetings, providing professional insights and recommendationsCollaborate with educators, interventionists, social workers, and other support staff to promote student successInterpret assessment data and communicate findings clearly and effectively to families and school teamsMaintain accurate and timely documentation in alignment with school, district, and legal requirementsSupport multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and help monitor student progressContribute to a culture of inclusivity, growth, and support for students with diverse learning needs Qualifications:Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsementExperience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school settingStrong knowledge of special education law, assessment tools, and intervention strategiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environmentCommitment to equity and access in education Preferred Qualifications:Experience in urban or charter school environmentsFamiliarity with SSM or other student data systemsFluent in Spanish preferredEqual Opportunity EmployerIntrinsic Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
