Job Title: Oncology Experts Duration: 2 Months Location: Remote About Us Based in San Francisco, California, we are the world’s leading research accelerator for frontier AI labs and a trusted partner for global enterprises deploying advanced AI systems. We support customers in two ways: first, by accelerating frontier research with high-quality data, advanced training pipelines, and top AI researchers who specialize in software engineering, logical reasoning, STEM, multilinguality, multimodality, and agents; and second, by applying that expertise to help enterprises transform AI from proof of concept into proprietary intelligence with systems that perform reliably, deliver measurable impact, and drive lasting results on the P&L. Project Overview We are seeking oncology medical experts to participate in a high-impact project focused on developing and evaluating agentic AI capabilities in healthcare. The primary goal is to create high-quality evaluation data to assess how AI agents can assist oncology patients and advocates in matching with appropriate cancer clinical trials. Key Responsibilities Patient Information Gathering: Review Electronic Health Records (EHR) and synthetic oncology patient data to create comprehensive summaries of cancer diagnoses, staging, biomarkers, and treatment history. Database Searching: Perform complex searches across oncology clinical trial databases (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov) using cancer types, biomarkers, lines of therapy, and other relevant filters. Eligibility Assessment: Conduct deep-dive reviews of oncology-specific inclusion and exclusion criteria, including prior treatments, washout periods, and comorbidities, to determine patient–trial compatibility. Clinical Triage & Analysis: Evaluate oncology trials based on scientific rationale, study design, mechanism of action, and site reputation to compile refined shortlists. Risk-Benefit Analysis: Perform comparative risk-benefit analyses of selected oncology trials to determine the most appropriate options for a patient. AI Collaboration: Use and interact with AI tools (e.g., Gemini) to generate agentic traces and provide feedback on AI-generated oncology trial matching results. Required Qualifications Medical Expertise: MD, DO, or equivalent clinical degree with demonstrated oncology expertise and a strong understanding of oncology clinical trial protocols. Technical Proficiency: Strong experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and oncology-focused clinical trial databases. Specialized Knowledge: Expert-level ability to interpret oncology inclusion/exclusion criteria, biomarkers, and complex cancer-related medical literature. Analytical Skills: Proven capability in performing complex oncology clinical assessments and comparative risk-benefit analyses.
